Clients know what they do or don’t like, they just need help creating a design that delivers their vision. There is always that odd corner, angled wall, or off-center fireplace that throws off the room’s balance and makes it feel impossible to work with. Maybe your project scope is unfamiliar or something you have never done before, like a kitchen remodel. You have an idea of what you want, but the number of choices just overwhelm you. This is my specialty! I love to help people bring focus to options that will deliver the space they are hoping for. This is exactly what I have been helping my clients do in their homes for the past 5 years. Seeing a client get excited when they can see their vision coming together is why I do what I do.

At a young age I knew I had an entrepreneurial spirit, so it was only natural for me to start Design Theory Company. My mother was always very crafty and creative, and it definitely rubbed off on me. She always had me doing little craft projects, sewing, and painting. As a child, I always wanted to rearrange my bedroom and the furniture throughout our home just to change the flow of the space. Design just seemed to be something within me, waiting to emerge as a career path. I graduated from URI with a BS degree in Fashion Merchandising and Design, later completing the Interior Design Program at RISD, furthering my education. I have always been in a visual role throughout my career coordinating color, texture, and product placement. Whether it was creating merchandising displays, sourcing materials for a jewelry manufacturer, or designing a client’s home. I like to solve problems, think outside the box, and be creative.
